WOrking out your priorities

Repetition, Repetition, Repetition

The more you read over something the more you remember it. You should read what you’re studying, re-read it, then re-write it which also requires re-reading it again, and then go over it right before the test so it is fresh in your brain. The more you go over the information the more it will come easily to you when you’re taking your test or quiz.

Be Organized

Take nice notes, keep worksheets and old tests, and maybe even keep them organized by chapter if you can. If your are organized and have everything you need to study in one place that definitely makes looking over the material one hundred times easier. Being organized also will help you in life and with a job and things like that. Organization is something you should learn at a young age so you can carry it with you all through high school and college most importantly.

sleeeep

Get a good night sleep. Four hours of sleep does not count. Instead of going to bed at say 2 or 3am try to make it midnight on the week days or the days you have class the next day. Set a curfew for yourself and follow it because it is so easy to get behind in class. And once you get behind on work it is really easy to just give up on the work/class all together.

pay attention in class

If you actually pay attention to what your teacher or professor is saying then when you go to study things will look and sound familiar. That is always a plus because you want to be as on top of the subject matter as possible.
